Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

Disconnect EPS CM connector and ENG ECM/PCM connector.
Measure resistance between CAN-High terminal of the MDPS ECM harness connector and CAN-High terminal of the engine ECM/PCM harness connector.
Measure resistance between CAN-Low terminal of the MDPS ECM harness connector and CAN-Low terminal of the engine ECM/PCM harness connector.
Specification : below 1 Ω
