Monitor the "WHEEL SPEED SENSOR-FR" parameter on the GDS. (ABS Control or ESP Control)

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Engine start and drive the vehicle on the road.
Monitor the "VSS" parameters on the GDS.(ENG. Control)
Monitor the "WHEEL SPEED SENSOR-FR" parameter on the GDS. (ABS Control or ESP Control)

Are the parameters displayed correctly ? (Compare with the vehicle speed guage.)
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ In case that the vehicle speed value from ABS module is different from vehicle speed at cluster : It is resulted from circuit problem not only between Wheel Speed Sensor(WSS) and ABS module but related component. Refer to ABS DTC C1203 ~ C1205. If the vehicle speed value from Engine Control Module is different from vehicle speed at cluster : It is resulted from circuit problem between Engine Control Module and ABS module. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair Procedure. |
