Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.

IG "OFF" and disconnect A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor, MAPS, CKPS(only ISG), BVS(only ISG) connector.

IG "ON"

Measure voltage between power terminal of MAPS harness connector and chassis ground.

Measure voltage between power terminal of A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

Measure voltage between power terminal of CKPS harness connector and chassis ground.(only ISG)

Measure voltage between power terminal of BVS harness connector and chassis ground.(only ISG)

Is the measured voltage within specification ?

	▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Check short to ground in power circuit" procedure.

IG "OFF" and disconnect A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor, MAPS, CKPS(only ISG), BVS(only ISG) connector.

Measure resistance between power terminal of MAPS harness connector and chassis ground.

Measure resistance between power terminal of A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

Measure resistance between power terminal of CKPS harness connector and chassis ground.(only ISG)

Measure resistance between power terminal of BVS harness connector and chassis ground.(only ISG)

Is the measured resistance within specification ?

	▶ If the circuit is insulated well and the sensor power supply from ECM is low, replace ECM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
	▶ Repair short to ground and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
