Remove the input speed sensor connector (A).
Remove the battery terminal.
Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to "Charging System" in EE group)
Remove the air duct. (Refer to "Intake and Exhaust System" in EM group)
Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to "Automatic transaxle" in this group)
Remove the input speed sensor connector (A).
Remove the input speed sensor(A).
Install the new O-ring to the input speed sensor.
Install the input speed sensor (A).
Tightening torque :
10 ~ 12 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7 ~ 8 lb-ft)
While installing the input shaft speed sensor, do not allow dust or other foreign particles to enter the transaxle.
Check the connector for dust, dirt, or oil, and then connect the input speed sensor connector (A) securely.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
