2.
Remove the select cable snap pin (A) and the clip (B) from the select cable assembly.
Remove the floor Interior console assembly. (Refer to "Interior (Console)" in BD group)
Remove the select cable snap pin (A) and the clip (B) from the select cable assembly.
Remove the clip (A) from the shift cable assembly.
Set securely.
Remove the shift lever assembly (B) after removing shift lever assembly installation bolts (A-4ea).
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Make sure vehicle does not roll before setting room side shift lever and T/M side manual control lever to "N" position.
Remove the floor Interior console assembly. (Refer to "Interior(Console)" in BD group)
Remove the select cable snap pin (A) and the clip (B) from the select cable assembly.
Remove the clip (A) from the shift cable assembly.
Set securely.
Remove the retainer (A) and nuts (B-2ea).
Tightening torque:
7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
Remove the pins (A).
Remove the cable (B) from the cable bracket at manual transaxle assembly side.
Remove the shift cable and select cable at cabin room.
Insert securely.
Marking must be shown after assembly.
Check the select cable for proper operation and for damage.
Check the shift cable for proper operation and for damage.
Check the boots for damage.
Check the boots for wear abrasion sticking, restricted movement or damage.
Check for the weak or damaged spring.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Make sure vehicle does not roll before setting room side shift lever and T/M side manual control lever to "N" position.
After cable is attached to the shift lever, left the "Knob " to the N stage, and then assemble the clip by controlling it side to side like the such figure B.
After fixing the pin cable to the center like the figure A, assemble the clip by putting inside like figure C. refer to the arrow line.
