Disconnect the clip (C).
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")
Remove the select cable snap pin (A) and then disconnect the select cable (B).
Disconnect the clip (C).
Remove the shift cable pin (A) and then disconnect the shift cable.
Remove the shift cable(A) and the select cable (B) from the shift lever.
Remove the shift lever assembly (B) after removing shift lever assembly installation bolts (A-4ea).
When installing, set room side shift lever and transaxle side lever to "4" position.
Tighten the bolt (A-4ea) and then install the shift lever assembly (B).
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Install the shift cable (A) and select cable (B).
Install the shift cable and then fix the pin (A).
Install the select cable (B) and then fix the snap pin (A).
Install the clip (C).
Install the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")
When installing the shift cable, select cable should be attached to the lever assembly.
New shift lever assembly is mounted in the neutral lock pin. After installation, remove the fixed pin.
Check operating of lever of transaxle side when operating shift lever after assembly. (1~6,R)
