Monitor CAN COMMUNICATION service data
After a repair, it may be necessary to check that fault is properly rectified.
Start the engine and connecting scantool
lifting a car and Drive from 1st gear to 4th gear
Select CAN COMMUNICATION SERVICE DATA (ENGINE SPEED, VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR, THROTTLE P. SENSOR, GEAR POSITION, AIR/CON. SWITCH, ENGINE TORQUE)
Monitor CAN COMMUNICATION service data
Monitoring for (pending) DTC. Is DTC P1764 set?
YES
Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
System OK
