Oil Temperature Sensor Inspection
1.

Turn ignition switch to OFF and disconnect OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR connector.

2.

Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR.

Test Condition : Ignition "OFF"

2)

Specification : Refer to " Reference data"

Is resistance within specification?

YES

a.

Go to "PCM inspection" of the "Component Inspection" procedure

NO

a.

Replace OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR and Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
