Connect Tachometer connectorM15-6 and ECM connectorC21-2.

Check Tachometer signal on scantool.

[Specification] Approx. 0~10V (At idle state)

Is Tachometer normal?

YES

a.

Tacho mete is OK.

b.

Possibility of defective ECM. Temporarily test with a new ECM and check for proper operation.

If problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

NO

a.

Test with a new Tachometer and check for proper operation.If problem is corrected, replace it.

And go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
