Check the signal waveform of CMPS on scantool.

[Specification] Check for signal waveform whether synchronize with crankshaft sensor or not and tooth is missing refer to sample waveforms below.
IG KEY : ON , Engine : ON
Connect CMPS connectorC01 and ECM connector.
Check the signal waveform of CMPS on scantool.

Is the signal waveform normal?
YES
CMPS is OK.
Possibility of defective ECM. Temporarily test with a new ECM and check for proper operation.
If problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Test with a new CMPS and check for proper operation.If problem is corrected, replace it.
And go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
