Connect a scantool to the data link connector.

2.

IG KEY : ON , Engine : ON

3.

Select actuator test mode in the scantool.

4.

Using the scantool, stop the injector by force.

5.

Due to the stopped injector by force, Is the engine stalls or poor idling generated?

YES

a.

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector.

b.

Fault was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.

c.

If the problem works out, Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

NO

a.

Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
