Turn ignition switch to ON and connect Vehicle speed sensor.
Measure waveform of Vehicle speed sensor on scantool.
Specification : Signal should vary between Low and High
Is waveform display the specified value?
YES
Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procdure
NO
Repair Vehicle speed sensor and Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
Turn ignition switch to ON and disconnect Vehicle speed sensor.
After connecting a scantool, select a SIMU-SCAN.
Simulate frequency to Vehicle speed sensor signal circuit.
VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR service data changed value?
YES
Go to Verification of Vehicle Repair procedure.
NO
Replace ECM and Go to Verification of Vehicle Repair procedure.
