Verification of Vehicle Repair

After a repair, it may be necessary to check that fault is properly rectified.

1.

Start the engine and connecting scantool

2.

lifting a car and Drive from 1st gear to 4th gear

3.

Select CAN COMMUNICATION SERVICE DATA (ENGINE RPM, VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR, THROTTLE P. SENSOR, SHIFT POSITION, AIR/CON. SWITCH, ENGINE TORQUE)

4.

Monitor CAN COMMUNICATION service data

5.

Monitoring for (pending) DTC. Is DTC P1630 set?

YES

a.

Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.

NO

a.

System OK
