BASIC INSPECTION

Before checking the A/C condensor fan, the following items need to be inspected :

① Heater Operation

② Relay damage or cracks within the wiring harness

CHECK PROCEDURE

1. Heater relay No.1, 2 test (Normally-open type A)

① Remove the water heater relay No.1 and there should be the continuity between terminal 1 and terminal 5 when power and ground are connected to terminal 2 and terminal 4.

② There should be no continuity between terminal 1 and terminal 5 when power is disconnected.

① Remove water heater relay No.2 and there should be continuity between terminal 1 and terminal 5, when power and ground are connected to terminal 2 and terminal 4.

② There should be no continuity between terminal 1 and terminal 5 when power is disconnected.
