For checking the charging voltage or amperge, raise the engine speed to 2,000 rpm and hold it there for more than 5 seconds.
Connect the connector the inductive pick up of ammeter over the B terminal wire of alternator and zero the ammeter or connect the multimeter to L terminal of alternator.
Start the engine

IS THERE A CHARGING VOLTAGE APPROX. 14.5V ?
YES
The charging system is O.K
Make sure there is no the DTC in the dignostic trouble codes menu
NO
Recheck for the wiring/harness of the alternater
Go to "Component Inspection" procedure
Go to step 5
MONITORING FOR PENDING DTC SET ?
YES
Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
System OK
