Verification Procedure
1.

Connect the scan tool to the data link connector (DLC)

2.

Fix the fuel pressure and the fuel pressure regulator current data.

3.

Check the the fuel pressure and the fuel pressure regulator current data at the all engine speed range.

4.

ARE THERE THE FUEL PRESSURE AND THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR PROPERLY DISPLAYED ACCORDING TO THE ENGINE SPEED ?

YES

a.

Make sure there is no the DTC in the dignostic trouble codes menu

NO

a.

Recheck the wiring harness

b.

Recheck the injector

c.

Recheck the FPR

d.

Recheck the RPS. For checking the injector , Go to " DTC P0190 " procedure

e.

Go to step 5

note

Fuel pressure idle set value should be displayed appoxi. 220 ~ 300 bar (approx.1V) while idling and changes on acceleration. Fuel pressure regulator duty ratio is approx. 14 ~ 16% while idling. However, the fuel pressure regulator sets the correct pressure with the duty ratio in the rail as a function of engine loading and maintains it at this level

5.

MONITORING FOR PENDING DTC SET ?

YES

a.

Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.

NO

a.

System OK
