Check the rubber components for wear or damage.
Check the spring for deformation or damage.
Hold the shock absorber and push. Then pull it up and down more than three times. Check for strange noises and irregular elasticity.
Check the shock absorber for damage or leakage.
Fully extend the shock absorber rod.
Drill a hole in the A section to remove gas from the cylinder.
The gas coming out is harmless, but be careful of chips that may fly when drilling.
