Monitor Actuation Test
1.

Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

IG KEY : ON , Engine : ON

3.

Select "actuator test mode" on scantool.

4.

Using the scantool, operate PCSV by force.

5.

Does the PCSV operate well?

YES

a.

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector.

b.

Fault was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.

c.

If the problem works out, Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

NO

a.

Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
