Remove the main relay

2.

Apply 12V and a ground to 29 and 31 terminals of the condensor fan relay #1

3.

Check if the fan relay works well when it is energized. (If the main relay works normally, a clicking sound can be heard.)

4.

Does the fan relay operate normally?

YES

a.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure

NO

a.

Test with a new fan relay and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace fan relay. And go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
