Before performing the inspection of throttle sol. valve, make sure that the follwing items :

② Check for leakage, breakage, or clogging in vaccum hose to throttle sol. valve and solenoid valve

Throttle solenoid valve

① Disconnect the throttle sol. Valve.

② Connect the ohmmeter probes to the terminal 1 and the terminal 2, measure the resistance.

Specification : 14 ~ 17 Ω at 20℃(68℉)

③ There are the "click" when the power is connected to the terminal 2 and the ground are connected to the terminal 1.

Throttle actuator

① Check the diaphram condition of throttle actuator with the vaccum pump

- Replace the throttle actuator If the throttle actuator does not move the left and the right direction normally.

② Inspect the throtle actuator stick if the throttle actuator stick is closed position then bring about the running engine stall or starting impossible.

- Clean the alien material of passage around the throttle actuator with the carburetor cleaner

- Replace the throttle actuator

It serves to increase the exahust-gas recirculation rate by reducing the overpressure in the intake manifold. Throttle-valve control is only operative in the lower speed range and is vacuum controlled via solenoid valve.
