Verify that position of selector lever and Scantool data (“SELECT RANGE SW”) are aligned.

Test Condition : Ignition “ON ”& Engine “OFF”

Specification : Position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW”) are aligned.
With ignition switch to ON, install Scantool and monitor the “SELECT RANGE SW”parameter on the Scantool data list.
Shift selector lever from “P” range to other range.
Verify that position of selector lever and Scantool data (“SELECT RANGE SW”) are aligned.
Test Condition : Ignition “ON ”& Engine “OFF”
Specification : Position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW”) are aligned.
Is SELECT RANGE SW display near the specified value?
YES
Go to “Terminal and Connector Inspection ”of the W/Harness Inspection procedure
NO
Go to “Inspection / Repair ”procedure
