Throttle Plate Actuator (Solenoid valve)

Throttle Plate Actuator, solenoid valve, issued in the CRDi vehicle with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Variable Geometry Turbo-Charger(VGT)system.

The main purpose of this valve is for inducing EGR gas easily into the intake manifold to reduce NOx emission.

In addition to the main purpose, ECM makes this throttle plate close, when start switch is off, to prevent vibration and shock of diesel engine.
