CURRENT DATA
During acceleration, engine speed, boost pressure and fuel injection quantity increase.
During deceleration, engine speed, boost pressure and fuel injection quantity decrease.
Boost pressure increases until 2500 mbar is reached, in the intake manifold, by the ECM.
ARE THE BOOST PRESSURE AND THE ACCEL. POSITION SENSOR CURRENT DISPLAYED PROPERLY ?
YES
Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.
Check for intermittent fault by observing the data parameter for a sudden change while wiggling the wiring and tapping lightly on the suspect component.
Be careful not to damage wires or components during the test.
Repair as necessary and go to " Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
