BASIC INSPECTION

Before performing the inspection of clutch switch, make sure that the follwing items :

① Contact resistance, oxidation, corrosion, bent or broken terminals

② Harness connector connection, loose wires etc.

CHECK PROCEDURE

1.

Clutch switch test

① Remove the clutch s/w connector and there should be no the continuity between the terminal 1 to the terminal 2

② When pressing the brake s/w, there should be continuity between the terminal 1 to the terminal 2.

2. Resiatance Check

① Disconnect the clutch switch

② Connect the ohmmeter probes to the terminal 1 and the terminal 2 and measure the resistance.
