Measure resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the sensor connector(to sensor side).

Ignition "OFF" & Engine "OFF"
Disconnect HO2S connector
Measure resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the sensor connector(to sensor side).
Specification : 4.0~5.2Ω[at 20℃(68℉)]
Is HO2S heater resistance display near the specified value?
YES
Check for intermittent fault. Observe the data parameter for a sudden change while wiggling the wiring and tapping lightly on the suspect component.
Be careful not to damage wires or components during the test.
Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
NO
Test with a new HO2S and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HO2S sensor and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
