Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of the STOP LAMP SWITCH when plunger of the STOP LAMP SWITCH is pushed in.

Specification : Infinite
Turn ignition switch to OFF and disconnect STOP LAMP SWITCH connector
Remove the STOP LAMP SWITCH
Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of the STOP LAMP SWITCH when plunger of the STOP LAMP SWITCH is pushed in.
Specification : Infinite
Does resistance indicate open?
YES
nstall and adjust Brake SW . Go to Verification of Vehicle Repair procedure.
NO
Replace STOP LAMP SWITCH and Go to “Verification of Vehicle Repair” procedure
