Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 3 of the ECT sensor harness connectorC03.

Check engine coolant level.
If engine coolant level is improper, fill up the coolant and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
If engine coolant level is proper, remove and check ECT sensor.
Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 3 of the ECT sensor harness connectorC03.

Is ECT sensor normal?
YES
Go to "Check Thermostat" procedure.
NO
Test with new ECT sensor and check for proper operation. If prblem is corrected, replace old ECT sensor.
Go to "Verefication Vehicle Repair" procedure.
IG KEY : OFF , Engine : OFF
Remove thermostat.
Check that thermostat was stuck or damaged.
Check that thermostat is operated normally.

Is thermostat normal?
YES
Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Replace thermostat and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
