Monitor the "MASS AIR FLOW" parameter on scantool.

a.
Approx. 900mV at IG KEY: ON & Engine: OFF
b.
Approx. 1,300mV ~ 1,500mV at idle(no load)
c.
Approx. 1,700mV ~ 1,800mV at 2000RPM(no load)
Connect santool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
Monitor the "MASS AIR FLOW" parameter on scantool.
[Specification]
Approx. 900mV at IG KEY: ON & Engine: OFF
Approx. 1,300mV ~ 1,500mV at idle(no load)
Approx. 1,700mV ~ 1,800mV at 2000RPM(no load)
Is the sensor’s signal near the specified value?
YES
Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector.
Fault was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.
If the problem works out, Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
