Measure resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the HO2S connectorC40.

Specification : 11~14Ω[at 20°C(68°F)]
IG KEY : OFF , Engine : OFF
Disconnect HO2S connector(C40).
Measure resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the HO2S connectorC40.
Specification : 11~14Ω[at 20°C(68°F)]
Is the resistance near the specified value?
YES
HO2S heater is OK
Possibility of ECM fail
Test with a new ECM sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace ECM. And go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Test with a new HO2S and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HO2S.
Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
