General Description

Operation

The Side Impact sensor(SIS) assy circuit consists of the diagnosis circuit and lateral deceleration sensor,etc. It receive signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, judges whether or not the SRS must be activated, and dects diagnosis system mulfunction.

DTC Description

DTC B1409 is recorded when occurrence of a communication error between Side Impact Sensor and SRSCM due to malfunction in the system.
