UD Solenoid Valve Inspection
1.

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect ATM SOLENOID VALVE connector

2.

Measure resistance between terminal 3 and terminal 9 of the ATM SOLENOID VALVE harness connector

1)

Specification: Approximately 3.0 ± 0.5 Ω (20℃)

3.

Is resistance within specification?

YES

a.

Go to next step as below

NO

a.

Replace UD SOLENOID VALVE and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure

TCM Inspection
4.

Turn ignition switch to ON and connect ATM SOLENOID VALVE connector

5.

After connecting a scantool, select a Actuator test

6.

Use UD Solenoid Actuator Testing Function in Scantool.

7.

For using Actuator Testing Function, verify that you can hear oprerating tone of UD Solenoid.

8.

Can you hear oprerating tone of Solenoid ?

YES

a.

Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure

NO

a.

Replace PCM and Go to "Verificaiton Vehicle Repair" procedure

ACTUATOR TEST CONDITION

In below conditions are all satisfied , scantool actuate the correponding solenoid valve with 50% duty percentage and not other solenoid valve does not actuate.

IG SWITCH ON

Do not any other actuator test

c.

INHIBITOR SWICH input normal

d.

P RANGE

e.

Vehicle Speed 0km/h

f.

Throttle position< 1V

g.

IDLE SWITCH ON

h.

ENGINE RPM 0

For doing not FAIL
