Verify that position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW” ) are aligned.

Test Condition : Ignition “ON” & Engine “OFF”

Specification : Position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW” ) are aligned.
After a repair, it may be necessary to check that fault is properly rectified.
After connecting a Scantool, Clear DTC.
Monitor the “SELECT RANGE SW” parameter on the Scantool data list.
Shift selector lever from “P” range to other range.
Verify that position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW” ) are aligned.
Test Condition : Ignition “ON” & Engine “OFF”
Specification : Position of selector lever and Scantool data(“SELECT RANGE SW” ) are aligned.
Monitoring for (pending) DTC. Is DTC P0708 set?
YES
Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
System OK
