Remove the center high mounted stop lamp.

Remove the upper trim from the tailgate frame.

Remove the side trim from the tailgate frame.

Remove the tapping screw and the trim grip and then remove the tailgate trim panel.

Remove the tailgate glass flip-up switch and the tailgate outside handle.

Remove the back panel molding.

Remove the rear wiper arm.

From the interior, remove the rear wiper control unit and the rear wiper motor.

Remove the tailgate actuator, the tailgate latch, the tailgate glass latch and the key cylinder.

Remove the tailgate struts and then loosen the bolts holding the tailgate hinge.

Remove the tailgate.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
