Using the special tool(09546-26000), compress the coil spring until there is only a little tension on the strut.
Do not use an impact gun.
Remove the front strut self-locking nut.
Remove the washer, strut insulator assembly, upper spring seat, upper spring pad, rubber bumper, dust cover, coil spring and lower springpad.
