Support the trailing arm with a jack.
Open the tail-gate.
Ply the shock absorber cover on the luggage side trim.
Remove the actuator-cap.
Loosen the rear shock absorber upper mounting nut.
Loosen the rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt.
Remove the rear strut assembly.
It is not necessary to remove a rear wheel and tire in removing only a rear strut assembly.
