Let vehicle idle and monitor the "VEHICLE SPEED" parameter on the Scantool data list.
Install Scantool and select engine part.
With raise vehicle on lift , start and run engine in gear.

Is the "VEHICLE SPEED" parameter within specification ?
YES
▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or PCM’s connector.
▶ Fault was repaired and PCM memory was not cleared.
▶ If the problem is corrected, Go to "Vericication Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
▶ Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
