☞ CURRENT DATA

At the start of injection, a high pickup current is applied to the injector so that the solenoid valve opens quickly. As soon as the nozzle has opened completely, the energizing current is reduced to a lower holding value. The fuel injection is terminated when the solenoid valve is no longer triggered and closes as a result.

IS INJECTOR CURRENT DATA DISPLAYED PROPERLY ?

YES

a.

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.

b.

Check for intermittent fault by observing the data parameter for a sudden change while wiggling the wiring and tapping lightly on the suspect component.

Be careful not to damage wires or components during the test.

Repair as necessary and go to " Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure

Go to " W/Harness Inspection " procedure.
