After the ignition switch ON and clutch switch OFF signal are sent to the ECM, depressing the clutch pedal sends a clutch switch ON signal to the ECM. To check the normal signal from the clutch switch, you should check ON signal current data while depressing the clutch pedal.
IS CLUTCH SWITCH ON DISPLAYED PROPERLY ?
YES
Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.
Check for intermittent fault by observing the data parameter for a sudden change while wiggling the wiring and tapping lightly on the suspect component.
Be careful not to damage wires or components during the test.
Repair as necessary and go to " Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure
