Verification Procedure
1.

Start the engine and measure the voltage at the water heaters.

note

To be sure the water heater relay test, the coolant should be below 65℃(149℉) at least.

2.

ARE THERE THE BATTERY VOLTAGE AT THE WATER HEATER NO.1, 2, 3 INDIVIDUALLY ?

YES

a.

Make sure there is no the DTC in the diagnostic trouble codes menu

NO

a.

Recheck the fuse and the water heater relay.

b.

Recheck the wiring harness

c.

Recheck open or short in the wire between the water heater relay No.1 terminal 4 and the ECM terminal 23/C230-1.

d.

Recheck open or short in the wire between the water heater relay No.2 terminal 4 and the ECM terminal 23/C230-1.

e.

Go to step 3

3.

MONITORING FOR PENDING DTC SET ?

YES

a.

Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.

NO

a.

System OK
