Monitor DTC Status
caution

Whenever the ignition switch is ON, or has been turned OFF for at least one minutes, be careful not to bump the Airbag unit The airbags could accidentally deploy and cause damage or injuries.

1.

Ignition "OFF", connect scantool.

2.

Ignition "ON"& Engine "OFF", select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)" mode.

3.

Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.

4.

Using a scan tool, clear the DTCs.

5.

Is DTC present problem ?

YES

a.

It’s may previous problem.

b.

Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.

NO

a.

Intermittent failure,There is a possibility that the fault is not in the permanent problem so you should check the charging system such as voltage regulator failure and poor connection of fuse and harness between battery to alternator and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
