IG KEY : ON, Engine : ON

2.

Connect Scantool,select Service Data procedure.

3.

Select Engine RPM, Input speed,Output speed , TRANSAXLE RANGE. Do graphic mode.

4.

Stall test procedure in D1

Stall test procedure in D1 and reason

a.

Procedure

a.

1. Warm up the engine

b.

2. After positioning the select lever in “D”, depress the foot brake fully and the accelator

* the slippage of one way clutch can be detected by stall test in D1

b.

Reason for stall test

a.

1.If there is no mechanical defaults in A/T, every slippage occur in torque converter.

b.

2 Therfore, engine revolution is out, but input and output speed revolution must be “zero” due to wheel’s lock

c.

3.If OWC or REAR clutch system(1st gear operating part) have faults, input speed revolution will be out.

d.

4. If output speed revolution is out. It means that the foot brake is not applied fully. Try again.

Is input speed displayed near the specified value?

YES

a.

Check that output sensor’s measured value is not normal. PG-A(IN),PG-B(OUT) (refer to DTC list P0717 PG-A,P0722 PG-B)

b.

After erasing the code memory, confirm trouble code again.

NO

a.

In case of detecting revolution of input speed sensor.

- one way clutch and REAR clutch are faulty or oil pressure system defect(replace the A/T ASS’Y)

- Repair, verify Verification Veh. Repair

b.

In case of detecting revolution of output speed sensor

- Brake operate illegaliy or Tire revolution , the foot Brake depress fully. Try again.
