The atmospheric pressure sensor is mounted in the internal of ECM. It senses the atmospheric pressure and converts it to the voltage, and it is sent to the ECM. Using this signal, the ECM calculates the altitude of the vehicle location and corrects the fuel injection timing and the fuel quantity. This atmospheric pressure sensor ensures the improved driveability at high altitudes.
