Remove the air duct connected to the air cleaner.

Remove the air intake hose at the air cleaner side.

Remove the air cleaner cover and filter.

Remove the air cleaner mounting bolts and remove the air cleaner.

Check the air cleaner body, cover, or filter for distortion, corrosion or damage.

Check the air duct for damage.

Check the resonator for distortion or damage.

Check the air cleaner filter for restriction, contamination or damage. If the filter is slightly restricted, remove the dust and other contamingnts by blowing compressed air from the upper side through the filter.

Check the air cleaner housing for restrictions, contamination or damage.
