The purpose of measuring PCSV resistance is to find if the open circuit is in the component.
Measure resistance of PCSV battery power circuit between ground circuit.
Probe(+) : PCSV power circuit NO1.
Probe(-) : PCSV ground circuit NO2.
Specification: 20℃(68℉) : Approximately 26Ω
Dose each resistance indicate continuity circuit?
YES
Temporarily install a known good PCSV and check for proper operatiuon
If problem is corrected, replace PCSV
NO
Open circuit Purge solenoid Valve
Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair"
