DTC | P0336 | Crankshaft position sensor A circuit range / performance |
P0341 | Camshaft position sensor A circuit range / performance (single sensor)
P0343 | Camshaft position sensor A circuit high input
P1300 | Synchronization error (CKP/CMP plausibility ) |
Piston position on combustion chamber is the substantial to define the starting of injection timing. All engine pistons are connected to crankshaft by connecting rod. Crankshaft position sensor (CKPS, A) senses the information concerning all piston positions and uses this signal to calculate the injection timing and engine speed. Camshaft position sensor (CMPS, B) senses the position of camshaft in reference to the upper dead point of compression of cylinder and sends this signal, based on which the ECM determines the injection sequence of each cylinder and the fuel injection timing.

P0336 P0341 P0343 P1300 | Detecting Condition P0336: The instantaneous change of CKPS signal is excessive. P0341: CMPS signal is not detected. P0343: The speed calculated by CMPS signal is too high P1300: Invalid CKPS signal is detected as compared with CMPS signal. Enable Condition Engine state : running Limp Home None (Engine stop) | - Open or short in CKPS/CMPS circuit - CKPS/CMPS - Timing system - ECM |
