IS THE BRAKE S/W ON WITH THE BRAKE LIGHTS ON ?
YES
a.
Make sure there is no the DTC in the dignostic trouble codes menu
NO
a.
Go to " Inspection and repair " procedure
b.
Go to step 5
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector(DLC) and start the engine
Fix the brake switch current data.
Check the brake switch current data when depressing the brake pedal.
IS THE BRAKE S/W ON WITH THE BRAKE LIGHTS ON ?
YES
Make sure there is no the DTC in the dignostic trouble codes menu
NO
Go to " Inspection and repair " procedure
Go to step 5
MONITORING FOR PENDING DTC SET ?
YES
Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
System OK
