IS THE A/C RELAY ON WITH THE A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH OPERATION ?
YES
a.
Make sure there is no the DTC in the diagnostic trouble codes menu
NO
a.
Recheck the fuse and the A/C relay
b.
Recheck the wiring harness
c.
Go to step 5
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector(DLC) and turn the ignition switch ON.
Go to the actuation test for driving the A/C relay.
Press on the START key
IS THE A/C RELAY ON WITH THE A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH OPERATION ?
YES
Make sure there is no the DTC in the diagnostic trouble codes menu
NO
Recheck the fuse and the A/C relay
Recheck the wiring harness
Go to step 5
Connect the LED lamp at the A/C relay terminal 3 after disconnecting the A/C realy
Check the ground condition with the LED lamp when pressing on the START key.
IS THERE LED GREEN LAMP(GROUND) LIGHTED ?
YES
Make sure there is no the DTC in the diagnostic trouble codes menu
NO
Recheck open or short in the wire between the glow relay terminal 3 and the ECM terminal 21/C230-1.
Go to step 8
Check the ground condition with the LED lamp at the ECM terminal 21/C230-1 directly.
IS THERE LED GREEN LAMP(GROUND) LIGHTED ?
YES
Make sure there is no the DTC in the diagnostic trouble codes menu
NO
Replace a known - good ECM and recheck. if the LED green lamp is ON, replace the ECM.
MONITORING FOR PENDING DTC SET ?
YES
Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
System OK
