Inspect connector(A) connection and check terminal(B) for poor connections, loose wires, bent or broken pins and corrosion.
Clear diagnostic trouble code.
Inspect connector(A) connection and check terminal(B) for poor connections, loose wires, bent or broken pins and corrosion.
Perform a simulation test. (See page FL-4)
Repair or replace the component that has a problem.
Verify that the problem is disappeared with the road test.
Turn ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect ECM connector, measure the resistance between ground terminal on the ECM side (ECM C230-1 terminal 1, 2 and 3) and chassis ground.
Inspect connector connection and check terminal for poor connections, loose wires, bent or broken pins and corrosion.
If it is abnormal, repair it. If it is normal, the ECM could be faulty.
Temporarily install a good ECM and check for proper operation. If problem disappeared, replace ECM.
