Throttle plate actuator (TPA, A) as throttle body assembly is mounted on the surge tank. When you turn off the engine, the engine control module (ECM) controls the throttle plate actuator to cut off the intake air taken into a fuel injection engine by instantaneously closing the throttle valve. The throttle plate actuator is also used to control the EGR volume.
