Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor.It recieves signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects and diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated.
DTCs B1402 are recorded when a malfunction in the Side Impact Sensor assembly (left side) is detected.
